Welcome to Reception. We have 2 classes in Reception Sycamore led by Mrs Kutner, Beech led by Mrs Scott-Chapman. At the start of the year, the children are split for registration and free flow between both classes and the outside area. After a couple of weeks, when the teachers have started to learn about the children they split the children into the class they will stay with for the remainder of the year.

In Reception, the teachers follow the children's interests and cover a range of fun lessons that engage the children. The children normally enjoy the 'Humpty Dumpty crime scene' found on the floor of the Reception playground.
