Year One have been learning how to sketch using the graded pencils and other media. The artist that we were inspired by for our topic was Da Vinci.  Our journey started by exploring different drawing techniques that we might use in our own sketches. Then we discovered how we can use different pressure to create different results.  We looked at different pieces of his art work to create an artist copy, and we were inspired to create our own self-portrait just like he did.
