Prayer day

We were delighted to welcome Rev. Ollie, who led a special workshop on prayer to support the children’s understanding of its importance. The children engaged in a variety of reflective and creative activities to explore how prayer can be a part of their everyday lives. They also took time to learn about how people of other religions pray, considering both the similarities and differences in these practices. Thank you to Mrs Kutner for organisation in this.
We are encouraging the children to write their own prayers, either at school or at home, to be shared during worship. These can follow a simple structure:
- Thank you for...
- Sorry for...
- Please...
- WOW... (something wonderful or awe-inspiring)
