"Start children off on the way they should go and even when they are old, they will not turn from it" Proverbs 22:6

Crib festival

Christmas celebrations are never complete without a Christmas crib. The Christmas crib is also referred to as the Nativity Scene or Manger Scene and it represents how Jesus was born in a stable. It will have the figures that were present at the birth, Jesus, his mother Mary and her husband Joseph. Other characters are also often included these include the Angel Gabriel, shepherds and the 3 kings.

Did you know that the representation of the nativity is a tradition that is almost a thousand years old!

We gave the children the challenge to create their own Christmas crib in the most imaginative way. The results were fantastic!
