"Start children off on the way they should go and even when they are old, they will not turn from it" Proverbs 22:6

Year 2 Immersion Day

On Monday we travelled back in time to World War I and became nurses and soldiers for the day. The children enjoyed different activities on Immersion day including eating, sleeping and fighting in the trenches. The Nurses had to make sure they had enough bandages to help the wounded soldiers. General Kauffer and Perry made sure the soldiers were in line and always had their registration cards on them and Nurse Field and Colby ensured the nurses always had sparkling clean hands. They all then started to feel a bit homesick and wrote some fantastic letters from the trenches. It was a fantastic day.
